Another quarantine remote project.
Daniel Stewart, a very dear old friend from IU music school is now the conductor at Santa Cruz Symphony and San Francisco Youth.
He reached out for “something better than glorified zoom” to show this Mason Bates composition that the members had recorded themselves at home for.
They gave me 88 videos, we worked on getting them as synced as possible, and then I pulled them all in Touchdesigner and started playing with instancing and testing the limits of my playback throughput.
Really nice to work in the classical world again after so many years away from it.
